Our cattery is located in Canada. The purpose of breeding is to move forward by choosing the best combinations of British Shorthair bloodlines to the appearance in your family of a healthy cheerful British Kitten, in a thick plush fur coat, with bright eyes, small ears and cute round cheeks. In our cattery, all the necessary conditions are created for a happy life of cats and the growing of British babies. A prerequisite for the selection of British cats for breeding is testing in licensed genetic laboratories for health control.
The basic principles of our cattery
To continue the breeding of healthy offspring, the strongest cats born naturally are selected.
Kittens go to a new home at the age of 4 months twice vaccinated, accustomed to independent food, litter box and scratching post.
Adult cats for breeding are selected based on their pedigrees and British cats type - as the brightest representatives of the breed.
Moms feed kittens up to the age of one month with milk and do not require additional artificial feeding.
Before mating, parents undergo examinations and genetic tests and analyses: RCD, ultrasound examination of the heart (HCM), other tests
For comfortable maintenance, we have several families of our relatives, in which our pets, males, live separately from females.
No cages and closed enclosures! British kittens have been living near us since birth surrounded by people and other British cats

Are British cats affectionate?
British cats love and appreciate affection very much, and they are happy to receive it by butting the owner with their head. He will be incredibly happy, sprawling next to you on the couch, while you scratch his fat cheeks. Your pet will surely appreciate such a display of affection and will thank you with a loud purr. The rule applies to the British – the caress should not be intrusive. I think you will agree with me that we all want to be treated with dignity, respect for personal boundaries and will not tolerate brusqueness and rudeness.
British shorthair cats are very calm, intelligent creatures with excellent manners and treat them best accordingly, then your love and affection will be mutual.
Who is an adult British cat suitable for?
What are the advantages of an adult cat?

British Golden Chinchillas are large, robust and muscular cats with a round head and thick cheeks. They have a compact, broad-chested body, short legs, small, slightly rounded ears, a short, slightly “flattened” nose, and a thick and short tail. British golden chinchillas also have plush, very thick fur with a dense undercoat.
Features of the golden British chinchilla
The golden chinchilla cat has many unique qualities. But its main value is its color. The golden chinchilla has a stunning coat color. Peachy-golden hairs with black tips. The British Golden Chinchilla also has huge emerald eyes with dark rims and black paw pads.
What is the personality of a golden chinchilla?
Golden chinchilla cats have an individual, unique character, unlike any other breed.
The British Golden Chinchilla is more affectionate and sociable than the average British cat. But still a little aristocratic and imposing. From the outside it may seem that these cats are arrogant and unsociable. But in fact, British chinchillas are simply very independent and have a sense of tact.
British chinchillas are independent and do not require excessive attention. They will not follow around and demand affection and attention. They are almost silent, do not scream, do not make noise.
How long can you leave a cat alone?
One of the best character traits of the British chinchilla is the fact that they tolerate loneliness, or a long absence of a person in the house, absolutely painlessly. This makes the British Chinchilla an ideal pet for busy, hard-working people.
Unlike other breeds, British Golden Chinchillas can stay at home without experiencing stress for 1-2 days.
On the third day, the cat will notice the absence of people and begin to worry. We strongly do not recommend leaving your cat alone at home for more than three days.
How do British chinchillas behave around children and other animals?
British chinchillas get along well with children and play with them, but will never tolerate disrespect or ear pulling.
They treat strangers and guests with caution. They get along well with other pets, including dogs.
All these qualities make the British Golden Chinchilla a desirable pet in every home. If you have been thinking about buying such a cat, take a look at our gallery of available British kittens ! Perhaps this is where your one and only pet is?

Colors of golden chinchillas
Many people are interested in golden British chinchillas. This is a fashionable and expensive color for British Shorthair cats. What is British gold? A whole polygenic complex is responsible for the “gold” color - a set of genes that provide a warm “golden” undercoat and at the same time lighten the hair from its main color.
Despite the fact that the cat's color is called "golden chinchilla", it can be a black golden chinchilla, chocolate golden chinchilla, lilac golden chinchilla, blue golden chinchilla, cinnamon golden chinchilla, golden fawn chinchilla. That is, according to its genotype, a golden chinchilla is either a black, or chocolate, or lilac, or blue, or a fawn, or cinnamon cat.
The British golden chinchilla also differs from the classic-colored British chinchilla in character. Golden chinchillas are attached to humans. They can be called companion cats. But at the same time, the attention of a golden British chinchilla will not cause you discomfort. They, like all cats, have different personalities, but we can say with confidence that they are human-oriented. What does this mean? Having undergone careful selective selection, golden chinchillas acquired a stable psyche. They do not show aggression towards adults and children, they do not leave marks in inappropriate places, they easily remember the rules of behavior in the house, they know their nickname and respond to it, respond adequately to a person’s desire to pet them, they easily make contact, are affectionate towards people, they easily endure travel, they can be taken with you to the dacha or to a country house. One of their distinguishing features is their sensitivity to a person's tone of voice. British Golden Chinchillas react to raised voices and are easily offended by shouting or saying something harshly, but at the same time they are not vindictive.
The British breed standard states that if most of the guard and outer coat is dyed by 1/3, the color is called shaded, if by 1/8, the color is called chinchilla.
Among experts and breeders, the uniformity of the undercoat color in a golden tone is valued. That is, the coat should be uniformly colored golden without a gray root zone. If earlier, when there was not so much gold, cats with a gray root zone still participated in breeding, now in most cases such cats are removed from breeding.
